California Pizza Kitchen Canada is seeking a talented Pizza Chef to join our team! As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that exceed our customers' expectations. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so it is essential that you are able to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. If you are passionate about food and have excellent attention to detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality pizza dough and toppings.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Ensuring that all pizzas are cooked to perfection.
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are completed on time.
- Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Managing inventory to ensure that all ingredients and supplies are adequately stocked.
- Continuously monitoring food quality to ensure that all pizzas meet our high standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pizza chef or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of pizza-making techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment.

Our Prep Cooks maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation. This position is responsible for following our recipes, procedures, specs, and techniques. They assist in the receiving of goods, daily inventory of prepared foods, and maintain proper storage and rotation of products. They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment. They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
